Valerie works alongside Ted as Agent, Company Manager and Campaign Manager. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2010 from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding with a Master’s in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding focusing on Restorative Justice. She believes that developing our innate gifts of imagination, intuition, creativity, and the language of soul can transform ourselves and culture. From her ancestral Celtic roots, in 2017 she founded and facilitates Shenandoah Valley Church of the Wild, an alternative community of humans and rooted, green, four-legged, feathered, crawling and flowing beings who meet in a forest on the margins between town and the wild. Valerie lives on the North River in the Shenandoah Valley with her husband, Craig, two cats, and many books. Her five grown children – Jenna, Emma, Brandon, Garrett and Grant, and incredible grandson, Silas, inspire her.
