Ted and Company

On Thursday May 23 from 7-9pm, the MYF of Community Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg will be hosting a coffeehouse fundraiser featuring entertainment from Ted Swartz, the Walking Roots Band and Shekinah. Come out and enjoy an evening of music.

Sponsored by Eastern Mennonite University's Summer Peacebuilding Institute, I'd Like to Buy an Enemy is coming to the EMU's Main Stage Theater in Harrisonburg, VA on June 7, 2013 at 7:00pm. Admission free to SPI participants, $10 admission at the door for non-SPI attendees. This thought-provoking show allows us to laugh at ourselves,while engaging us to think about the place of the US in the world, to confront the fear that is such a large part of our culture, and to consider how we can work for peace and justice in this country and in the world. A talk-back with actors Ted Swartz and Tim Ruebke will follow the performance.

As part of the Community of Christ Church's summer camp Spectacular, Ted will perform and provide leadership to the theater performances involving youth participants during this week-long event.

Ted & Company will be presenting a live show Sunday evening as part of the welcome weekend for new students at Eastern Mennonite University.

As part NOAC 2013 Ted Swartz will be presenting Laughter is Sacred Space. The Church of the Brethren's National 50+ Adult Conference will be held at the Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center in Lake Junaluska, NC on September 3.
